Is there any way that e-mail addresses can be removed from the original thread? Since it's locked, we can't do it on our own, and as Marik_Steele pointed out, there are people that search for e-mail addresses on the web.

You know that they arnt fighting %100 of the time, they have down time, and time when nothing is happening. Even if you dont support the idea of the war, they are still Americans, and you should support them.
Also, I told it that I would donate 5 gmails, so I just wait for them to contact me back?
Ya, no doubt they will be typing on thier darn computers all day long and iraqies will just shoot them up. For the life of me I can't figure out why soldier would need gmail any more than a normal person, its not like hotmail freezes up in the iraqie desert or something. I don't have anything against army geeks getting Gmail, but is it really that hard for them to get?
mullet, feel free to link my gmail offers to that page if you want, I don't particularly care who gets my invites, as long as they acctually want them.

How are you guys getting so many invites? I was only allowed to invite 1 person <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Wow, I love you guys. I just checked my email on my phone(<span style='color:yellow'>********</span>doesn't like other email) and saw tons of invites. I feel loved ^_^
I dunno how you ppl get so many invites either... I got 1 back in the day, and now I just got another 1... and I use it as my main account so *shrug*...
as for the troops supporting the war - I think more of the troops are against the war than average americans are, because they get to see first hand how pointless it is...
I got 2 until today on the account I use a TON (had it for a few months) and got 7 on the account I hadn't touched (literally). <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> But then a few minutes ago I got 6 at once on the account I use a lot <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Um.. I'm out of the loop on this whole gmail thing and, while I'm not really interested in being in the loop, from the outside it looks like some sick pyramid scheme.

Spooge, the only thing pyramid-y about it is the current way of getting a Gmail account. Gmail is currently in a closed beta, and you can only get an account by being invited by an existing user. Existing users get a limited number of invites - why who gets how many invites is currently one of Life's Great Mysteries.
There's no reward for signing up or for referring people... it's just an *excellent* email service that really blows Hotmail and Yahoo out of the water.
