Im not sure if this is the solution... but if you want to try...

It is for windows XP so I assume you have XP installed at your PC...

press windows key and pause key at the same time, which opens the system properties... You can also open the system properties from control panel, classic view, system...

Once you opened the system properties go to advanced tab, click the settings button of startup & recovery... System failure is there at the bottom... you can see the checked boxes there write an event to the system log, send an administrative alert, automatically restart...

TY Gazz for clearing up my mess.

Sorry HelMe, the "guy" was me. I will try to elaborate on my instructions later.

Note that this just stops the PC restarting, and will just leave you with a critical error which you may not even be able to recover from. (Ie, you will have to restart anyway.)

Explanation of my first solution.

In keypress notation, If you see any keys (Winkey, Ctrl, Alt, Space, etc) followed by a "+" and another key, you must press both keys together, in that order.

If followed by a "," then you press the first key, pause, then press the 2nd.

Ie, to insert a ? in MS Word if you dont have the German keyboard, you would press Ctrl, Shift, and semi colon, then let go, and press o. Ie:
Ctrl+:,o

("Shift and ;" becomes ":")

HTH.
