This PC owns you all.
Well I was browsing around today looking at all these computer parts I will never have and I think that I have built the ultimate PC. Yes, it is from Falcon Northwest, but I just used them to see all the available super-parts and calculations.
Here it is... (drumroll please)

Also, your 'amd.txt' gives a 504 - Forbidden error.
And Gundam... you should probably not post to computer threads any more. Insisting that an AMD mobile will outperform a 64, and then asking if a pair of 250GB hdds is /too much/?
NEVER. You could always use it for TV shows/movies/tons of music, etc.
Needs a projector instead of a LCD.
Needs an x800xt PE
Needs AMD 64

naw, just set up Linux and FreeVo and hook it up to a big-**** plasma TV
The P4 3.2 EE(dunno about the 3.4) lost to AMD's Fx- 51

Swap that to a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz or something, and you might have a decent system.
Also, why the external 4-port SATA controller? The A8V comes with an onboard SATA controller with RAID functionality.
Same with the A8V Deluxe coming with USB 2.0 onboard, as well as IEEE1394 (firewire, powered and non) with headers for case-mount, as well as blank butchblocks witht he ports for back-mount.
And if you were going for a killer machine, you'd go with an FX-57, and water or phase-shift cooling.
Also, ditch the Audigy for a Santa Cruz or something, double the RAM, and swap out the puny monitor for two 30 Inch LCDs Yes, they're Apple, but they have DVI inputs so they'll work on a PC.
Add a few of these for good measure in the storage department, and connect the whole thing to a OC192 line (9.6gbit/sec) and you have a fairly ultimate computer. If there's a board that allows multiple Athalon64s, that's even better. Get a bunch of them Bill Gates' credit limit would help too...
Edit: stupid apple link was wrong...
Also, if you're going for four 250GB SATA drives, I'd personally go with three 'usable' drives and one parity drive, setting the whole thing up as a RAID array. That way if a drive fails, you can get your data back by replacing the dead one. It'd also increase throughput by quite a bit, given that SATA is actually slower than IDE at the moment due to 'theoretical' problems with the setup that became a reality. Once the bugs are worked out, it'll be great. But for now, the only thing it offers over IDE is thin little cables that are easy to work with, and improve airflow in the case.
Then again, you really don't need airflow if you're going for a phase-shift cooling rig.
Also, if you wanted twin DVI displays, you'd need to go with a FireGL rather than a standard Radeon. Those come with twin DVIs, instead of the Radeon's single DVI/single VGA connectors.
:X
AH! MY EYES! MY EYES HURTS!
Err....sorry to sound like an idiot but what ius phase-shift cooling?
Tried googling but things didn't turn up what I was expecting o_O
Edit:
I sure hope you are not getting an LCD for gaming.
