What Soundcard To Buy?

<div class="IPBDescription">Come one come all</div> Ok, I have a crappy Soundblaster Audigy 2 and I can't use my mic for ANY OTHER PROGRAM while on Vetrilo. I can't use Ventrilo if I'm using ANY OTHER PROGRAM USING MY MIC. So, because of this, I am in search of a new soundcard which will allow me to USE VENTRILO AND ANY OTHER PROGRAM THAT REQUIRES A MIC AT THE SAME TIME WITHOUT MY MIC MESSING UP. Please post your thoughts and back it up with reason.

maybe a software splitter, one that splits the input into two virtual inputs? (im just assuming such a thing exists)

cheap, and good for games. Its not a 200 dollar insanely expensive audiophile job but its good enough
