When I load up batch Compiler, and go to Specifications and select Zoners custom build backup Hlfix Optplns I get the following error

"Error (8): Expected "Batch" or "Stage", got "Setup"."

What am I suppose to do now?

    Ok I opened another bcs file and compaired them. But it seems that the files are written in 2 different formats. Am I trying the correct version here?

    I'm trying to use Batch Compiler version 3.0.

    For example this is how the custom built backup hlfix.... blah blah blah thing that I downloaded from here looks like. This is just the top part of the file. NOt the whole thing.

    Looking at this I concluded that these are 2 different versions of bcs files for the same program. I might be wrong. Can anyone help me here?

    You're trying to use the old BC spec file with the new BC. But they are not compatible. But when you use the preset specs from the BC 3.0 you're fine. "Zoners Tools Advanced" is the spec to go for <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    that's what I meant. use the specification which came with the batch compiler 3.0 and you're fine <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
    No need for downloading other ones.

    Ok now for the setup, I need these two files called, "opt_entdata.exe" and "resgen.exe". What does this mean? Where do I get them from? If I dont fill out that path, it gives me an error. But I dont have these files.
