Ct & T Demo For Css
<div class="IPBDescription">I've got some...</div> I've got a demo made of the terrorists and Counter-Terrorists on CSS, but I dont have a host. Does anyone here have some web space that I can put it on for others to download? And also, can hl2 demos be played without using hl2?
Comments
No.
How big is the file?
That's 11mb. Not too big...
If you compress it to a .zip file, it will easily knock off a few mb's.
EDIT:: And where can I host?
Hope you'll all enjoy it. I remember I have a cool ragdoll physic that has a CT on the edge of a box, on top of it, shooting at some Ts at the underpass. He gets gunned down and topples down the side. Yeah, nothing special, but the physics are so awsome. In the beginning of the game I really try to demo "properly" but by the end I just start playing how I normally would and chat about it. I got some footage of [FPS]30 being knifed, too, if you see his name pop up in the game.
Does this happen to anyone else?

If you take a 1024*760*32bpp picture that s roughly 2MB for one frame. Almost all IDE drives have difficulties going beyond 10MB/s effective rate while a processor-hungry application (like a game) is running. FRAPS is saving at 5 fps because your system cant follow.
Consider decreasing resolution/bpp while you record.
edit: Oh you already decided to. No matter, <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
wee... ?

Pffftt....you'd think a 2.4ghz processor and 1gig of ram would be able to record a damn game. Ohwell, I'll just put my settings on ultra low when I make vids. Thanks.
But I can still make another one. Not like its not fun. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> Now that I've got the chance, however, what would you like to see in the demo?
Or someone gets shot... a couple times... in the head... or the balls...
And he falls... To the ground... a couple times...
I'm sure you get my point. Going to record a demo right now, fifteen minutes. One last thing, however, my flashbang effects havent been working properly. Instead of having retina burn, where the image that you saw previously kind of stays frozen in view for a moment, then it fades away, I get these weird colored boxes. Hopefully uninstalling and reinstalling source will fix that, but if not I apoligize. You'll just have to see it somewhere else, or when you play it on your own!! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Anyways, at the end I try to get a knife fight going, but no one plays fair. Finally, I just blow myself up with a grenade and pull off a cool looking rag doll. Then I watch a tire roll and the demo ends. All throughout the video, though, the rest is playing, and the physics are demonstrated nicely (and yes, I got a shot of the dust particals, dont you worry.. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> ) I also got some good bombsite explosion footage, but only from site A (the site that is NOT CT spawn) and I apoligize.. I need to get some rest for school tommarow, so I cut it short. I did pretty good this game, at one point I cap three guys at once.. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> A well used flash is a deadly weapon.
Speaking of flashes, my aftereffect of the flash is still screwy (even after uninstalling Source and reinstalling )= ) and I apoligize. I'm sure by other screenshots, though, you'll be able to get what it is like mostly, but not experience it fully, sorry! I did the best I could. I'll post the video in the first post of this topic once I finish it, and it will be in blink format (HOPEFULLY!) It should be on tommarow.. and keep the screenies comming to the screenshot thread of mine, everyone else!
Dont forget to check that <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=78115&st=345' target='_blank'>other thread</a> about CSS that I posted a ton of pics in!!! Later!!!
Remember to make a torrent.. they rock <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I'll have one by tonight. I swear. I just need to do some social studies homework... after I take the demo. Right .. now .. (and anyone with source can contant me on xfire@redspark or red.spark@gmail.com and take the demo WITH me, I'll gladly.. reshoot. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> Its always more fun with friends!!!!)
