[wip] Drake's Brute Grenade

This has been sitting around my hard drive for a while unfinished. The concept was done by Drake, when he was doing the Brute series of concepts.

Polycount is 1009. Probably will be able to cut it down to ~980, I hope. Unless I decide to cut holes into the grenade body for the pin, which will raise the PC instead. Oh, and do pins stick out to the other side? I don't know much about nades so I just modelled it in like that for now.

I deviated a bit from the concept with the handle part thingy, but meh. I think it's all right.

    Well, I could do that myself. But I might go bone up the Baelrog first, cause it's been too long.

    Anyway, final tweaking/optimizing of the model is completed. Final polycount is 1045 cause I decided I wanted the pin holes modelled in. Hmm.. it seems relatively simple to mesh, might go do that first, but I hafta sleep now.

    * and yeah im pretty sure nade pins would go threw to the other side, like a fire extinguisher would, cause it needs to lock the handle thing down properly, not just on one side

    Meh, going out today so I don't know how much work I can get done today. So I will post the partially UV mapped .3ds here, in case anyone else wants to take a crack at UV mapping this and get it done faster.

    Mmmk, actually managed to complete the UV mapping today, so hurrah. Go go skinners! Oh, and 1045 isn't the final polycount. It's now 1013.

    Im loving that model guys. One thing thats i thought was funny, in the concept, for some wonky reason, i thought it was leik, rectangular. lolol But i think this still looks good. Noice job guys. two thumbs up.

    Yeah I got the same feeling for it, but whatever works. Looks good, waitiing for a skin. :]
