which are you on?
It's been a little while now since 0.9 came out but I'm still using 0.8 after hearing a lot of complaints about 0.9. Which version are you guys all using (those who use firefox at least =3 ) and is 0.9 really as bad as I heard? Should I continue to stay on 0.8 until 1.0 or 0.10 or whatever they're calling the next one? =o

ADVISE ME GREAT COUNCIL!!! ~praises the board~

    0.9.3? I thught the latest was 0.9.2?

Ah well, using 0.9.2, and have had no problems whatsoever. It might be because of importing settings from 0.8 that the majority of complaining is from =3

0.9.2 at work, 0.8 at home. Both work with no problems for me.

*Edit* I imported my settings from 0.8 and it works like a charm.

0.9 on my desktop and 0.8 on my laptop. Both work great but I tihnk it is worthwhile to upgrade.

Firefox 0.8. Personally, i don't like the look of 0.9, don't like the changes from 0.8 and a number of plugins i used weren't supported in 0.9.

And on a side note, helloooooo gemmy gemmy gemcaek! XD

I have only had one problem with 0.9: Invision Power Board's Admin Control Panel causes it to crash and burn horribly. Take THAT, boempaukeslag.
But unless you're a Forum Admin somewhere, that should be no problem for you.

Odd.. I use 0.9 and don't have any trouble with the Invison board admin CP on my forums..
Though.. that is with 1.3 final.. Haven't gone over to 2.0 yet, since its still a Beta.. Thats might be the reason why its AdminCP causes Firefox to crash and burn

The main difference.. Well, Firefox has more features and less.. bloat. They take the base mozilla releases and then optimize and add to it. Also firefox is just a browser, mozilla is an entire suite of tools.
Thunderbird also takes a simmilar design path. They grab the base mozilla email client then optimize and add too it.
So.. thats about it. Faster with more features.

Firefox 0.9.3 here... I have some issues with it though. 1: The font on some sites is too small/big, so I have to resize it all the time. 2: It doesn't support DHTML too well.

Other than that... best browzar evar!!!1

The biggest pain of switching was finding all my plugins again. I wish it brought up a list of the homepages of the plugins you had installed in the previous version so you could download a new one compatable with the new browser version.
