Thinking Of Getting A Job As Soon As I Finish....

...school and public exams.
I was thinking maybe I could work as network maintenance dude/assistant (whichever is applicable) at my school, seeing as there is a...lack of work on the actual network.

I was thinking maybe someone could maybe find any webpages or books on basic network maintenance and if possible, other kinds of computer maintenance and advanced network maintenance (being Network technician at my school is also == Tech Support LIVE!)

It would be appreciated if someone could also post some book titles that will help XD

I will desperately need to earn myself some money if I'm thinkng of going overseas to another school or at least leave this apartment where there are like....a lot people in it XD

(In order to clarify what I mean, 3 brothers, 3 sisters, and parents = 9. Nephews and nieces = 3. I'm the 1 left behind in all that mess....that makes 13 people under the same roof....COMMANDER I NEED OXYGEN!)

Learn competently (and practice) the main programming languages (look at microsoft more, unless whoever is going to hire you is somehow not stupid). Go out to the library and get a few books on said programming languages, and just anything you find relevent. Do any courses you can find.

    Good luck

I say go for it man. Just make sure you read all the manuals you can get your hands on and make sure you know your stuff. There's nothing more annoying than an under-educated tech support person.

Get some O'reilly books! These are the most competetive technical books you can find. You can learn everything while reading them, the other stuff is practice and experience.
