Can't Get Ns To Work.

ok, i installed ns to the steam/half-life folder, then installed the two b4 patches but when i try to join a game i either get a message telling me that my cl_dll or dlls differ from the server or that the map.bsp differs from the servers. what the hell? any ideas? thx.
