    I wasn't happy about the cliff hanging ending but it was a good way to start a trilogy...

    The movie reminds me of '28 days later' also a bad movie, resident evil it was just too fake for my liking, the licker monster thing just didn't seem that good or real like or something.

    I'll still watch the movie to check it out.

    the movie was good what wasnt good was the fact that it had barely anything to do with the game

    if it came out with any other name and you went and saw it without ever playing the game you would say its a good movie

    I really liked Resident Evil. No, I didn't play the games, but I watched the movie as a movie, not as a game. I feel it was a good movie in it's own right.

    The first Resident Evil was pretty good. Of course it wasn't the best, but you can't expect every movie based on a game to be as popular as starwars or something can you? Not everything has to be 100% perfect.

    I can forget about the film not living up to the RE franchise, but even when you view it seperately from its heritage then it fails to impress. Face it, Anderson doesn't have a clue how to script or direct a decent film.
