The Song That Really Gets You Inside..
<div class="IPBDescription">gets memories and tears going..</div> *sigh*
my GF and I, after almost a year, are pretty much done..
one of the first intimate things she told me was how Unchained Melody got her crying.. memories and melancholy in her past. now i listen to it and.. i'm sighing and getting all weepy..
gawd it hurts to lose the good ones..

Gets me depressed because of some things I tend to regret. Hence the reasoning for something in another thread. It's a song from the Ghost in the Shell SAC OST 2.
EDIT : Another song that makes me almost gets me is Red Hot Chili Peppers - Other Side
And for music that gets my blood going, Black Mages - The Decisive Battle (FFVI)
Mutter- Rammstein
Everlong- Foo Fighters
Hurt- Nine Inch Nails
for their own reasons.
John Williams - Star Wars episode 2 them (Across the stars)
John Williams - Duel of Fates
Rainbow Six rogue spear theme
Michael Kamen - Band of Brothers
Hans Zimmer - Leave no man behind
And some classical songs, too many of them.
Sweet dreams are made of this, who am I to disagree?
Same reasons as zig basically.
Cradle Of Filth - Bathory Aria
Lacuna Coil - Reverie
Chobits OST - A Fly On The Wall (I think it's called that, lol)
Black Sabbath - Changes (Not the crappy re-release with Kelly "Fat Slag" Osbourne)
Jane's Addiction - Pigs In Zen
Nine Inch Nails - Hurt
Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile
RE.M - Everybody Hurts
Seriously, if that song doesn't stir your heart even a bit you probably need counselling.
I actually like the Soviet anthem.
A pity it was so contrived to be a piece of propaganda and not birthed from a feeling of inspiration.
If I'm just listening I'm ok - but if I sing along (out loud or in my head) I get all choked up and teary.
back then, had frequent arguements with my parents and so i listen to him to soothe myself :o

Humm, what do you mean by this? The original or the one by Marilyn Manson (which actually is a great song)
The song, and the only one too I've noticed is "Ozzy Osbourne - See you on the other side" gives me memories of passed away pets and some people.. It's the thing for me which, if feeling like any crying I play it and let it come out.. In the middle of the song when he goes "But we'll be together carved in stone" is when it at least gets me through (get it? Get me through? By Ozzy.. ah whatever...)
I don't even need to be sad or anything.. I could just listen to it right now and get tears squeezed out... weird. But it's good if you want to show your emotional side (like my present girlfriend found out). I noticed that even TYPING that one piece of lyrics almost got me bite my lip! God, it's so weird I say...
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
A Great Day for Freedom - Pink Floyd
Daniel - Elton John
Song For Guy - Elton John
Your Song - Elton John
Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence - Ryuichi Sakamoto
Away - Nightwish
Dead Boy's Poem - Nightwish
With or Without You - U2
Changes - Ozzy Osbourne
You mentioned Clapton.
Tears in Heaven.
(Clapton wrote this song when his 3? year old son died in a fall)
That song hits me harder than most as Clapton is singing from personal loss and not just imagined/synthetic loss or sorrow that most rockers add to their lyrics.
(Would I be suprising anyone if i said it's because of a girl? No, thought not)
Terminus Discord - Music
(This isn't so much a piece that gets me all teary, but I find it very easy to get 'lost' within it)

<b>Edit:</b>
<i>to see him obviously framed
couldn't help but make me feel ashamed
to live in a land where justice is a game
now all the criminals in their coats and their ties
are free to drink martinis, and watch the sun rise
while rubin sits like buddha in a ten foot cell
an innocent man in a living hell</i>
Dylan has such a stirring voice, and his lyrics are straight awesome.
Mozart I think.
Gah... <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
