    Well, you ould start by getting DX9c and updating your motherboard if possible....

    And you could try going for an AMD 64, just for the heck of it when you want to install some sort of 64-bit OS like Fedora Core 64 (aka Linux distro) or something....beats me. I've only used Intel processors. I fear my CPU getting burned down by insufficient measures to remove heat so I use Intel. I feel so useless XD

    /me hits self with brick

    EDIT : And you need exactly 512 MB more RAM. Nothing hurts if you have 1 GB o' RAM!

    Thiers nothing thier that needs upgrading unless you use the PC for something specific such as RAM intensive programs or Art design such as modelling.

    That PC will run anything thats out or coming out in the future, save your pennys or better yet give them to me <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    chances are the bottleneck is the hard drive. get a bigger faster one.

    Im beginning to wonder if HDs are like Jesus in a non-religous, non-blasphemous kind of sense <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I would say processor, or a gig of 3200 ram which you can always use later if you ever upgrade your mobo/proc.

    make sure the HDD is 7200+ rpm as opposed to the normal 5200 rpm... faster seektimes on the hard drive mean faster load of the os and games...

    it's a small change, but more noticable than a case upgrade...

    You can get a really cheap 10g 10000 rpm drive, and stick your OS on it with your other important applications. This will help your bootup times greatly, as well as other loading times.

    It also helps alot of the game is on a different drive than your paging file.

    that and if you have legalized "parasitic computing" programs like Kazaa.

    what drive would that be?

    A Raptor is expensive, and I don't think SCSI solutions would be cheap.
