OK, I just got a site for my new HL2 mod on www.hlgaming.com. Its a pretty good deal becasue they give you tons of storage, PHP/MySQL support, FTP, POP3 accounts and best of all its free.

Back to my problem. I'm not quite sure how phpMyAdmin works. I need a username and password to logon, but I was not sent any stuff for this. Any help?

    phpMyAdmin is really, really easy to setup. Just copy the files from the archive onto the server you want, run the php script that is the 'installer', and that's it. It does ask you for some things though, such as the username/password you're mentioning.

    MySQL connections require a username and password, so what PHPMyAdmin wants is the Username and Password that your host should have provided you with for your mysql connection. So check with them if they didn't give you one.
