Intall Beta5

<div class="IPBDescription">cant...</div> I downloaded beta 5 and loaded in the half-life/nsp file and went to play but of course there were no servers. And i knew i wouldnt be able to play 4.0 servers but i tried anyway and could....so i obviously installed it wrong and tried 3 times but nothing works anyone know whats wrong?!?! <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    b5 installs in the ns folder, your old nsp folder was untouched..


    so you can still play b4, which is what you were doing. or play b5.

    right click on the steam icon, play games.

    you should see:
    natural selection(beta) <-- this is b4
    natural selection(beta 5) <-- this is b5

    You prob need to update your filters on the server browser to find beta5 games.

    unless you installed it all over beta four, which it sounds like you did.

    my advice, delete your ns/nsp folder and reinstall NS.

    Its the full version, not a patch.

    Ok i got it, was installing it into the nsp file when i should of just done it in the half-life one thanks a lot i gotta try this out <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
