The new NS actually comes with 3 new maps! The hidden one I found was "subtransit.bsp" You can't play it, because there's no spawn points, and from what I saw, it looked like the "Power Up" chapter from Half-Life.

Anyone else having problems with it. I haven't yet managed to finish a round. It just keeps crashing! First time just stoped responding, second time the was a sudden graphical glich meaning the screen looked like crap.

Even though there isnt any big changes with the nades, but I like the new crouch nade toss.

Beta 5 blows me. it sucks so bad, marines are HORRIBLY over powered now. It's not in the changelog for some reason, but the knife has been increased, the comm being able to open the doors is exploitable (just click click click and its like a trap that aliens have to try and manage, they have a 50% chance of being smashed, and prevents the onos from going through..

The new maps aren't too great, probably because I didn't play them for we were looking for Easter Eggs in the RR, and we found 3 on ns_altair.

Personally I thought beta4 was somewhat balance, or just somewhat anyways. But now that aliens got nerfed in beta5 it has somehting to say that ns crew don't like aliens much, or couldn't kill them in the first beta4.
Co_ in my opinion has marines on an upset, (jps being even easier to use), (shotties are even easier to use, so any nub can use them), and (overall takes like no bullets to kill a skulk, just pull out ur knife for 3 seconds and boom u will win).
Havn't had much of a chance with the NS_ maps or that aspect of the game just yet, but I'll see how that goes later on.
I'll be waitin for another update on this soon, so I can get back to messin around as alien soon. I hope.
