<div class="IPBDescription">Half the screen for twice the gamma</div>I dont know whether anyone else has experienced the same problem but when I run NS from the shortcut in the start menu and join or create a game it runs only using half the screen with an extremely high gamma setting. I have uploaded a .gif to my site so you can see what I <a href="http://www.antimatteruk.com/ns/images/ns_gamma_prob.gif" target="_blank">mean</a>.
I have found though that running half-life and opening ns using the custom game feature you can overcome this problem.
I am using winXP, a geforce2 with the 30.82 graphics drivers. I am going to download the beta 3 40.72 driver to see what effect this has and will post back later.

No idea why this might be happening, and I haven't seen this before, but if starting a custom game through normal HL does the trick, go with it until a solution can be found! <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
