Gotta get mapping again
So I decided that after a while of not mapping, it was about time for me to get mapping again. I begun after a long day an 11pm. You can see how wise I am. I decided to see if I still could manilpulate brushes the way I want 'em. So I made a map called brush test. Here are some screens. There are some slightly misplaced things, but just.. keep them to your self.
For example: a spot light with out an 'on' source, and a red light from no where (just to kind say: oh look there might be a vent here if this were a proper map).

I like the curved ceiling, but am less sure of that light there. (it looks a little weird.) Also, the texture on the circular plate on the ceiling looks odd. Try resizing the texture to fit on the surface, so you can see the rim of it. (If I'm not mistaken its a circular texture.)
Looking good though, keep at it! Just be sure to make that lighting interesting
If I was to move on I would put the light thingy (better textured) thats from above the pipe just under the arched struts that are on all four sides, and get a blue - white light to emmit from it. I would also have a red effect from the floor all the way round. I may work on this abit more for my own peace of mind, and because I want to build the next room, which with abit of luck will look very nice in both lighting and brush work.
Does blue-ish white and red go together?
Edited at now, by me:

High r_speeds attributable to the railings which I made individual brushes for no reason.
