I'm being told that mouse1 being bound to +attack is scripting
So whenever i fire; scripts are not allowed on this server..
But when i let go of mouse1, it fires. So i get lmg 3 round bursts and knife/pistol when i let go.
Also, half the time I get pistol selected and I can't change to any other weapon. Because? I press 1, then fire and ... "scripts are not allowed on this server" so i can't change weapon. Didn't realise changing weapon was scripting now...
1. Don't tell me to get rid of "my scripts"; the closest I've got to scripting is hud_fastswitch 1.
2. Don't suggest reinstalling NS; have done 3 times.
3. Don't suggest resinstalling Steam; I even did that.

I know him and he wouldnt be telling lies cus he loves the game of NS and hasnt been able to play at all, which is **** up.

Because someone out there knows that aliens exist in real life and that they can't bunnyhop using the mousewheel, or shoot faster with the mousewheel or pistol scripts even though you aren't shooting faster because the rof is capped. The arguement of the anti-scripters is very retarded, so please, bere with the wave of ignorant fanboys who are going to hit your thread with their cleansed anti-scripting saved by jesus because they don't script ways.
Also make sure you don't have the dedicated server download (140 mb), but the actual B5 client (152 mb).
Are other non hl engine games working well? Wrong mouse settings?
How do you do this without scripting?
alias fl_flash "impulse 100; wait; wait; impulse 100"
bind mwheelup "fl_flash"
bind mwheeldown "fl_flash"
Perhaps blockscripts will trigger in this way for every command, not just wait.
when in game:
pull down the con and type
bind mouse1
what does it say?
Does this happen on all servers?
all servers with mp_blockscripts?

I also assume that you are playing on beta 5?

He means the way in 2.x it would sometimes not let you switch repeatedly. I often do it when leap-biting and trying to leap away, and get myself killed.

make sure ur button are bound to weapon 1 , 2 etc then type the dud_fastswitch1 in
first time i played NS my mouse side button switched between weapon 1 and 2 untill i bound weapon 1 and 2 to mouse side buttons and used the fastswitch command it works fine for me now your promlem could be similar but its best to PM some1 in the know .

i played ns with a COMPLETELY clean install.
absolutely nothing changed. installed b5 then connected to the asylum.
the result?
