Tablet or Normal
Ok, I have started school and now am looking at getting a laptop for school. I am taking Computer Science (programming) so I am looking at 2 options.
First off, a normal laptop. Primary use for taking notes and the like. I would like one that had a half decent video card in it so I could at least **** around in some games. Something like a low end Radeon 9xxx series or such. but if those cost too much, just something to work on.
But while browsing, I noticed tablet PC's. Tablet PC's are something like this: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/Sea...2311&CatId=1064
The real nice thing about that would be all the classes notes are online, and during class I could just bring up the notes and easily write in my own extra notes on the spot. Easier to squish stuff in the margins and draw arrows and diagrams and such, which would be really cool. Obviously this won't be used for gaming, and would also be a bit smaller (average 12 inches) so would be nice and light to carry around.
So, anyone used any tablet PC's before, just trying to figure out the best route. And if anyone has seen any deals around for laptops, you can point em out also, but if it's online, it has to be able to ship to Canada

As a secondary recommendation, if you're a linuxmonster, be aware that many Intel-centrino-certified internal wireless cards are a *pain* to configure, requiring an NDIS wrapper.
