I know i'm going to get SRS (Street Racing Syndicate) when I get my paycheck and maybe along with Star Ocean.

I wouldn't reccommend getting SRS. Its basically a NFS:U wannabe, stress the wannabe(at least in my opinion. Then again, I'm going through NFS:U right now, and being blown away by just how fun it is).

But yes, Burnout 3 is easily this years best racing game, hands down. I'm buying it after I buy Chains of Promathia(FFXI expansion), Fable, The Sims 2, Halo 2, probably Half-Life 2(if it comes out in time), THEN I'll get Burnout 3.

Or I'll just rent it 9 times in a row. Man, I'm being overwhelmed by kickass games.

I spent 20 minutes looking at MGS3.
15 playing Starcraft: Ghost.
A Day and a half playing Burnout3.


This game owns so much.

Great game to get out my suicidal tendancies when I want to run my car into a full gas station and kill everybody in it!

I too like it, my only problem being, its too easy at the moment, and the physics are TOO simple for my tastes. These make NFS:U seem real.

Quaunaut, tell us when you've tried Multiplayer. I bet that will get rid of your difficulty problem.

Can't. No intraweb support.

But I found something that does anyway: Faceoff mode. Your opponent is totally unforgiving in that, though, it is REALLY hard to take them down(but still really fun!).

My favorite mode by far though is Road Rampage. Take down x amount of cars and get Bronze. Get more than x, silver. Get y amount of cars, you get gold and win a new car! My first time doing it I got 14, and when I redid it just for fun, I got 36. Insane <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

holy crap, i think thats the greatest driving game crash Ive ever seen.

(exeption me going car surfing on GTA3 for 9 blocks and then doing a superman when the car hit something.)

I find the crash courses to be the weakest aspect - with the races you've got to show a little skill. Crashes are just the same thing, over and over.

Love the arcadey feel to driving (dab brakes to powerslide, etc), and with Outrun2 on the horizon, it's a lovely time for Xbox Live!

However, I've never seen worse Live implementation. Many, many disconnections (which freeze my router!) and even crashes (not the good car kind)! When you're actually in the game though, it's flawless.
