i have a question for those who model.

i ask because i have searched some places and i can't find any good concepts or pictures to model on.

www.deviantart.com - be careful about this one, i searched for 'guns' and just went through and modeled one, and they got REALLLY mad that i didn't ask them... even though i did inform them that i would vanquish all rights if they wanted me to... they would have rather just stayed mad.
www.world.guns.ru - *the* spot for gun information at a quick glance... usually has 1-2 pictures of everyweapon your looking for... and some that you aren't. a good check for real-guns.
www.anidb.com - an animation database, it lets me know what animations have guns and wars in them, and then i go off and search for pictures from that anime.
www.suurland.com - not sure if i have the link right, but it's got tons of vehicle blueprints and the such, more real-world stuff... but it's pretty well put together.

www.google.com - you can do the rest yourself... search for 'concept art' 'concept weapon' 'concept soldier' 'or 'Fan Art' to get nice results in the links and images side.

imo your concepts beat the most others but.... uh... who said that? D:

<span style='color:red'>Mephmage</span> - Great concept artist, a bit touchy but he's okay
<span style='color:red'>Drake</span> - Great concept artist aswell, a bit at the "im the best" side, but also quite okay
<span style='color:red'>Sid</span> - Another Great concept artist, uncoloured concepts for the most, but hey! He's okay
Those are the best concepts artist we have, but I think mephmage have removed alot of his stuff but you could always pm him or something but i think he mentioned he've left the forums
And sid has his own site with alot of concepts, click somewhere in his sig (if he still has the link there) to get there.
Drake, well he posts his stuff on a regulary basis
