Cannot log onto valve.

I go to multiplayer game and internet and it goes to logging onto Valve pop up and just keeps going and then quits. I cant updade to get servers but if i put in a ip adress a server will pop up this is ### and i cant play can annybody help thanks.

    i have the same problem! I'm on a lan, behide a router with a firewall. When i goto internet play it logs onto valve all ok. But when i click update, it starts to update then drops, after a few sec's and knocks out the all the internet on my network for about 2 mins.

    Alot of times the First won server half life logs into timesout... but thats no problem for me theres always the second one... but wow some of those problems are strange.

    I can't connect to anny of them.  And Valve runs it now not WON.

    From what i know valve was having a problem yesterday on the server, I was having the same problem, but it works now.
