[edit] the swear filter is there for a reason, please protect my virgin mind and don't attempt to dodge it. Also, please don't use leetspeek because it is patheticly immature and makes you look like a nerdy CS hacker, who is also by extention a total loser, with no brain or ability to play any game that requires more skills asside from running and shooting, and thus would probably be best off attemting suicide by slitting his wrists, although his parents will come into the basement and catch him in the act. Because of that he would spend the next year and a half in counseling, and end up working at macdonalds for a living since his intellegence is to low to realisticly expect to do any other job. After a few years flipping burger, eventually his luck would run out, and he would be hit by a car as he was walking home from work. The consequence of this would be that he would essentially be a vegtible and live out the rest of his life drooling in a wheelchair. On the up side his parents would sue the drunk driver, and with the millions in winnings start up the worlds most successful online pet rock store. In the end they all lived happily ever after... exept for the CS nub who died at the age of 32 when his parents rich parents forgot to feed him because they were living it up so much.

The moral of the story is, I agree with you, action figures would be cool.

I'd actually be interested in buying a gorge plushie and I think a lot of people would be.
plz? =D

Oh and the store is still selling shirts with "2.0" on them..
When's the last time somebody bough -that- ?
Wouldn't you ppl save money by taking that shirt of the page?
(I don't know anything about Cafepress and their polices though, maybe it doesn't make any difference)

Oooh, ooh, let me yell this time!

Do you have ANY IDEA the amount of effort involved in creating a plush doll? The don't just drop out of trees. You have to send the specs off to a company, who then makes a prototype for you off the pictures that you send. This prototype alone can cost hundreds of dollars. Then when you finally get a design that you can live with, you can't just order a few of them. Orders tend to start in the thousands and go up from there. And it takes many months between order time and delivery time. So until Unknown Worlds becomes a bigger company that can afford to invest the amount of money that ends in an uncomfortable number of zeroes in a project that won't have any payoff for several months... it won't happen.
• Bo_SelectaBo_Selecta Join Date: 2002-11-19 Member: 9374Members, Constellation
Then how come some online comics with a much smaller reading base than the number of NS-players (and even forumnites) are able to sell them?
• BobTheJanitorBobTheJanitor Join Date: 2003-12-10 Member: 24228Members, NS1 Playtester
Probably hand made. The plush bun-bun dolls, for example, that fans of sluggy freelance might be familiar with, are ALL hand made. Now do you want nem0 sitting around sewing plush fatties all day, or do you want him banning everyone in sight? You can't have it both ways.

wait a sec... I think I remember reading somewhere on a forum that they asked a company to makes those things (well, not the sluggy ones, but for at least 2 other comics) ...
..
but I can't remember where
..

I'll get back on this =D

*edit*

Hmmmz, turns out they asked keenspot..
I somehow doubt they'll help you.

I have a life size Marine cardboard cut-out figure in my bedroom. He guards me from alien invasion at night time.

I wouldn't mind an action figure too. But I doubt enough money would be made to cover the production costs. Just make some new clothes for your Action Man. The Greatest Hero Of Them All.

I want an onos with HA feet hangin out of the sides of his mouth! =D

or a nice ha with an hmg or stuff...

NS would be a treasure chest to make toys of.

openable cc + 1 Actionfigure (vanilla + jp and ha as clip-on) + each Equipment, for example.

maybe we get vehicles in ns2 - that would REALY ROCK!

Action Figures look horrible. I won't get them

Plushies are wonderful and cuddly, especially gorgies (I know I'll get one for myself and one for my gf, then the whole collection if my money can follow)

Figurines or statuetes are pretty cool as well as they're usually much better done than Action Figures. I'll probably get one or two if there's leftovers from the plushes

how bout a giant bed or a sleeping bag modeled after an onos. bedtime means you got into his mouth and digest for the night, morning you struggle to free yourseft from certain doom but then your mom frees you by saying "get outta bed, your gonna be late, dont look at me that way *smack*"
