Problem With Installer

When I try to run the ns_install_v3_b5.exe file I get this error.

Program too big to fit in memory

I am have 512MB of RAM & more than 2GB spare for Virtual RAM on my C: partition. I have an Athlon XP2500+ Barton Core CPU running Windows 2000 SP4.

I've tried installing with 2 different sources of the file but both give the same error. Any ideas?

maybe your temporary files folder is to crammed. it should be called TMP or TEMP. find it then if it is cram packed then delete the stuff then try the installer.

Well I managed to fix it.
I tried redownloading the installer from yet another source (I did 2 different sources at the same time actually) but this time using IE to download the file instead of using Getright as I would normally do and lo and behold it works fine. Also these 2 files have the proper installer icon where as the previous ones had just the blue & white MS DOS .exe icons.

Moral of the story. Never trust a download manager program.

Also Xenix 2GB free space should be more than enough for any install program to unpack into.
