<div class="IPBDescription">A good hobby?</div> I've recently found out about this airbrushing thing that most people use to create freaking great pictures.
Now, what I want to know, is it expensive? Is it a good hobby, or do you have to have years and years of studying and a lot of skill.
Now, I'm not very artistic. I only sketch stuff with pencils, and rarely even that.
So I was wondering wether anyone has had any experience with all of this, and would like to share it with me/us.
OOh and btw
Here is the guy who got me interested in airbrushing: <a href='http://www.fred-katrin.de/giger/necronom/hr_giger_necronom_IV.jpg' target='_blank'>H.R. Geiger</a>

That's the evolved form of the word...
An airbrush is just a metal pen that blows a mist of paint with.. well... air.
It was used in the days before computer to "touch up" photos because it could get better skin tones, I guess.
As for the original topic.. I have no clue. Maybe try asking in the art forum?
Like this edit I did of Forlorn<img src='http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/j/a/jam544/vorpal/forlorn.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
(the source file had a terrible flash reflection <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=61183&hl=' target='_blank'>The original</a>)
(edit: ok so it really wasn't done with a physical airbrush. I was just reminiscing)

It's kind of like saying, "I'm going to learn how to do good techno".. only not.

A lot of Giger's work is sexual, it's art and it's awesome.
