That was until I got kicked for no apparent reason. First I would like to ask...Where the hell do admins come from and why are such idiots running them? I was on one single server allday long and even left my screen for hours at a time without being kicked and then suddenly some ### kicks me because I ask if there is going to be any more features released for the mod. It really pisses me off that people treat NS like CS when it is not.
ANOTHER THING: Who freakin says that an alien can't camp? HUH? have you ever met an alien? Do you know the way they act in real life?....NO!!!..SO don't tell me I cant camp. I would never camp in CS because your not supposed to camp in that mod because people don't like waiting on others to finish a round so they can play.
NS on the other hand respawns you when you die and there isn't really a reason to move about all the time especially when some rounds can last over two hours.
Please note that camping is not what got me kicked because i was activley playing at that moment. The point I'm trying to bring forward is why wouldn't an alien creep into a dark crevace and wait for its next victim with the patients of a fisherman? From what I read, Please correct me, I read in the manual or somewhere that hiding above doorways and making precision attacks to the marines by waiting in the dark is actually advisable foe effective NS alien play.

Just thought I would bring this up just incase some anal and impatient CS player starts complaining about campers in NS. In my opinion there is no such thing as camping in NS because it is a mind game that uses tactical warfare to beat the enemy rather than just plain force and constant offencive.

Again...Who the hell can tell me the aliens cannot camp. Denying someone the privelege to camp in NS is like telling a deer in the forest that it cannot hide from a hunter anymore.

This post has no relevance to my gameplay with NS today. I have not been accused of camping nor have I been told that aliens cannot wait or camp. I posted this somewhat as an early note to the dumbasses out there. I am mainly concerned that there are a-lot of CS admins that are going to run NS servers and kick people because they don't play by the basic rules of CS. I don't know. I would like to hear your opinions on this subject.

Just got back from playing hours on end. Wow for some reason this post did something for me because i went back in the game and killed four marines in a row with a skulk. Aliens are cool.

Though...ofcourse...I always thought aliens were cool.

as long as your not cheating and your playing the way your supposed to, your good to go. Camping is fine and by all means INTENDED to do. There is a reason aliens got the cloaking abbility only when they stay still, and it wasnt so that they wouldnt camp. The whole point of being an alien is stalking camping untill your infestation is high enough to attack, the marines job is prevention, yours is evolution. The point is to camp on the outside of there base so when they come out to expand you jump them and kill them, cointain them untill you have enough hives and rp to go fades/onos and attack them head on, controll the map and its resources. Now that takes ALOT of camping. Camping, and yes it shouldnt be called camping, because it stalking

    Aliens are awsome.

I love it when everyone uses the hivesight effectively.
Aliens needs no typing since they can see their teammates as white circles, marines as yellow circles and takingdamage aliens as red circles.

You also get the hive saying "Lifeform is under attack" to everyone. At the marines side, that only appeals to the Commander.

However, I do enjoy it when the marines works as a communicating team.

The skulk is the most awsome "camper" in my opinion. It's fun to cloak, wallwalk over an arch and jump on the backs of the marines. You can take an 4man squad that way.

Yeah, I love being a skulk at the start. Sneaking around and parasiting the marines. If used effectively you can really kick some ### with that little guy. If you get silent walking + cloaking you're good to go. Yesterday some heavy was walking down this hall and I was cloaked midway up on the ceiling. He looked straight at me (I had lvl 1 cloak) and then kept walking.. I had killed a lot of marines up to this point so they were all a little paranoid .. I dropped to the ground, chuckled, and ran up behind him. Biting him multiple times in the back he tried to wheel around and fire, but he aimed too high and was in confusion so I ended up killing him, and wasting their RPs on the heavy armor
