<div class="IPBDescription">Ns is still a joke</div> This game is still won or lost by how well one team managed to hold their E key and build turrets for the autowin. Natural selection will always suck because of this, since evidently the developers are too blind to see how blatantly imbalanced their own game is. Keep building your turrets rines, everyone knows that's all you need to know, and keep outplaying the other team and losing aliens, because even though you might have more skill, the other team has cannons that shoot through the wall and win the game without even having to be in the same room.

I'm done with this game until someone grows a brain and fixes the marine team(aka turret farmers).

    Well I for one am glad that you are done with NS, becuase its people like you that makes the game any worse then it isnt already.

    he's a bit harsh, but not completely out of line, IMO.

    the game definitely has balance issues. producing a public game like this that supports 16v16 or more can't tag on some lame argument about requiring only a certain number of people for the game to actually work as intended.

    if you deny that NS still needs balance tweaking, you're either insane or not totally sane. =P

    There are so many variables in NS, it's just amazing how the devs got this far. You have 2 races with completely different playing styles and weapons that have to balance each other somehow along with resources, hives... wow...

    Games like CS or most other mods are MIRRORS of each other. That is why NS is so special.

    Turret farming works if the average skill on the alien team is only about 30/100. It isn't turret farming that ruins the entire game. It makes games where the aliens are worthless into a boring affair, yes.

    All of this has been said before.

    If the commander is able to turret farm for teh win ... all the time change server couse that is a SURE loss against any half decent alien team ..

    Turrets are in one of their weakest shapes in all builds of 3.0 - other builds had the problem to a larger extent, if anything. Sure the turret vs 1hive problem is existant, and unfairly punishes public teams - but its not so large that its gamebreaking. Calling NS a "joke" because of that is like complaining about 4 minute Fades in pubs - your team needs to get off their **** and stay on the ball, or you get no play at all. And I've succsessfully depleted my stock of klischees now.

Thats the way its meant... I think... its always seemed to function that way since the beginning as i know it(1.x) <span style='color:white'>Be nice.</span>

    heard that in 1.00, especially with the super-cheap sieges with a huge range and auto-targetting without LOS from a marine.
