ya I was confused too. I sent a message to the admin since there is NO link to this thread from the old one. Only a link in this thread to the old one. But if we find this one we kinda figure it out <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> There SHOULD be a link TO here from the old thread <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> Hopefully that will be corrected <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> lol
anyway, glad u like it and if anyone else needs any avatars (or in game sprays perferrably sized 128x64 which is the best size for a spray - don't worry it gets to be a bigger size ingame) then just email me at katiekabo0m@gmail.com or aessery1@cogeco.ca or ang@abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijk.com (yes, believe it or not that IS a REAL address lol).

I usually use photbucket.com to host my images but now since they have had trouble for a month now and I am tired of my avatar and sigs and other work not showing up I am going to check out the other links Moleculor suggested:
<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Also, please try and find free hosting at places like <a href='http://www.hostmysig.com/' target='_blank'>hostmysig.com</a> or clanpages.com or even your ISP provided webspace, rather than uploading the images here, if possible.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Btw.... clanpages.com is no longer there (but they tell me it is for sale lol ::rolls eyes::.)
and hostmysig is a pay hosting server. There is a 5-day free trial tho.

I might not have it exact but I think I can help you know where to start with transparency of your pics you make in Gimp.
I usually start with adding another layer and making it transparent and bringing it to the bottom. I don't know if I need to do this but it seems to work.
1. You would click select contiguous regions.
2. Select the outer area that you want to be transparent.
3. Then cut that area out so it is transparent.
4. Then for closer cutting I select hand-drawn regions and cut out more area I want to make transparent.
For your case of the cat and not wanting to mess up the chin I would draw a colour you don't care about (cuz it is temporary and will be cut out like the rest as described above) just around the bottom of the chin so it doesn't get selected.
Someone else may have a better idea of Gimp but this is just for now since no one else has said anything who does know Gimp at all lol
I hope this helps <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

It seems like it worked. I did an example to show you:
I did all the transparency all in Gimp (even tho I could have saved a LOT of time just doing it in Paint Shop Pro ... lol)
I could have done it better but I didn't feel like it for just an example of how it is done in gimp <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
