sisters guitar (which has been sitting upstairs
since December!) and was showing some chords
and notes and all that jazz.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any good sites
for learning the basics or is it better to have someone
there with you to teach you?
Oh and, it's "acoustic" if that's important.

But you can teach yourself. Chords, that is. Don't expect to play much else. But that's probably what you're after. Most people that I see "playing" the guitar hold it completely wrong and their left hand system makes me throw up... But they play chords...
