Problems With An Xstacy 9200 256mb Pci Video Card

Help..
I'm running Windows XP on a Compaq Presario. The video card just isn't working. I updated the drivers. It installs perfectly fine, then when I restart with the monitor plugged into the video card, it'll be fine until it's passed the loading screen. When windows actually starts, the monitor simply goes into stand by like it's not even connected.

The monitor works fine after I switch it back to the normal slot. Then I get an error saying that ATI Control Panel failed to start because of a driver being installed or not working properly.

I'm honestly stuck. Any help would be appreciated. If you need system specs and such, just ask.

The only thing I haven't tried was changing the IRQ slot like www.visiontek.com suggests. They say it should work fine with Windows XP. :/

disable your on board graphics via going into device manager

    Omg, thanks alot. <3 <3 <3

I tried that before, but I guess I just disabled the driver for it. I had to do a system recovery right after because I couldn't see jack****. Thanks again! .
