Anyone know of any good ones?
Hey guys n gals of the NS community, Im looking for some serious and meaningful type of quotes from video games for a small project. They can be from either Console or PC games.
They can be from character cut scenes, dialogue, intros, or maybe even from background books like the stories you can read via books on the selves in Morrowind etc.
A good example of one would be this one from Soul Skorpion's forum sig.

"It's time to kick **** and chew bubble gum... and I'm all outta gum." Duke
Thats all I can think of... I know there were some other quotes from his Nintedno 64 game where he travels through time....
If you're looking for meaningful quotes though, play Deus Ex. The entire game is some Xen ****...
Sorry. Meaningful quotes..?! From a computer game? Pffft - lots of luck.

It gives away a very crucial part of one of the characters, but if you seriously don't care, I suggest reading the Unbroken Circle of Zerthimon, Parts 1 - 3.
Or, if you're looking for some humour, check out Kimasxi Addertongue.
Honestly, play the game. This script is only one possible path of many that is offered in the game.
-Manny Calevera, Grim Fandango
"I FEEL ASLEEP!"
"Sorry, but our princess is in another castle."
"When all else fails, use fire."
"It's time to kick **** and chew bubblegum, and I'm all outta gum."
"Nobody steals our chicks, and lives..."
"I never thought I'd see a resonance cascade, let alone create one..."
"... My good buddy Max. He's a demonic little imp."
"Where should we dispose of this bomb so it can hurt no one we love or care about?" "Out the window Sam, there's nothing but strangers out there"
*BOOM* "I hope there was nobody on that bus." "Nobody we know at least"
"COW LAUNCHED!"
"It is dark. You are likely to be eaten by a grue."
"May the way of the hero lead to the Triforce..."
I can name more if you want. :)

DATA: This is newly-promoted, junior scientist Hawkins reporting. Dr. Chu -- y'know, he's the leader of this section -- he's still in sick bay. He's been there ever since that thing took a swipe at him and he got too close to the cage. I guess it's got like, triple-jointed arms or something... with spikes and razor-plates all over. Uh... data? Oh yeah, right, right. Subject is a Xenoteratomorph -- a big honkin' one, I might add. It eats everything -- plant and animal tissue, wood, ceramics, plastics, asbestos fibers, several types of metal, chairs, a desk, and about half of everything a security officer wears. What is doesn't eat, it chews, and what it doesn't chew well, it breaks up into tiny little pieces. What... summary? Seconded. The Circle is one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, works of literature ever written for a video game. I cheated just so I could get the entire story =O.
Planescape torment had brilliant dialogue and writing. Its text along could've filled several volumes, not to mention the wonderful gameplay.
Words to live by I'm sure.

That just has to be a quote from Star Control 2 - it just has to be! It has that twisted, hitchhikers guide to the galaxy style humour.....
