<div class="IPBDescription">Can't use any commands?</div> I realize that this is a NS forum but I figured that you guys might have some answeres none-the-less. So here is my problem (I'm a server newbie, so don't shoot me <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->). I installed admin mod and configured it etc... I load up the server and then I connect and everything is dandy. I login as an admin using the admin_password command and it tells me that I am logged in. For testing purposes I gave this user only level 1 permissions. Anyways, after that I cannot run any other commands. I tried admin_help and it tells me unrecognized command, I even tried saying timeleft as normally, but nothing happens. I am assuming that AdminMod is working since I can use the admin_password command successfully?


On another note, how do I get the game to run the adminpass.cfg script through steam as they suggested?'

Do this: set your users.ini up to contain the following<ul><li>STEAM_0:0:123456::131071</li><li>//rkiefl</li></ul>Insert your SteamID and you're all set (the //rkiefl is simply a comment). This method allows you to grant full access to anyone playing from your computer only (using your SteamID of course).

Yeah I did that. I have no problems logging on with my steam ID, the problem is that no commands can be executed. For example, the timeleft command doesn't need any admin level access but it doesn't worl <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I am so rusty on AdminMod, but try this: type admin_version in console to see if AM is running. If it is type admin_status ingame console to see your access.
