    What makes you think your mod will be any different than all the other Aliens or Predator mods for the past 10 years? Either the mod will be complete crap, or if it gets beyond the complete crap stage Fox will give you a cease and desist. And if you don't, they will sue you. Do you think so lowly of your own work that you'd just throw it all away?

    I suggest that now, while you're still in the infancy of your development, you change stuff in the mod so its not "Aliens Vs Predator" specifically, but rather something resembling it. Like what Gloom and NS do...

    Heh. Wouldn't NS get in doo-doo if the guy that is creating this mod got sued? Or does it not matter that it has been advertised on the NS site? Just want to clear that up as I was discussing this with a friend and we couldn't decide on it.

    it is not "alien versus predator" geth that through your heads. You are a predator. You dont hunt aliens all the time, you also hunt humans. IT will be better because we are using the doom 3 engine, and it will have single AND multi player.

    Get it through YOUR head - if your mod becomes anything resolving functional, then whoever owns the Predator copyright/trademark, will be FORCED to send you a cease and desist. If you don't, you'll be sued. And you will lose.

    Edit your mod while it's in its infancy, so it has the same style, but not something that you can get Fox'd over.

    actually, we plan on not saying anything about it until the mod comes out, and use unnoficial names. YOu will not find predator or alien in this mod once. And once it comes out, and tons of mirrors and people have it, it will be too late. we wont use copyright names anyway.
