Adminmod: Unable To Find Player

<div class="IPBDescription">Admin access not working at all</div> Hi all,

I got a serious problem with my new server. I'm trying Beta 5 with AdminMod 2.50.60. Everything looks fine, and when I log in I get the following message:

[ADMIN] Password accepted for user 'STEAM_0:0:1234567'. Access granted: 114687

Very well. However, every single command only gives me "[ADMIN] (access) Unable to find player: Nightwind"

admin_version works though, and it seems everything is okay.

Any ideas?

I assume you're running your server on Linux. NS 3.0 beta 5 was compiled with gcc 3.2, while gcc 2.95 was used for previous versions, so you'll need to recompile adminmod with gcc 3.2 (3.3 seems to work too).

there were some good features in adminmod, ill give it that. but as for getting it configured, almost impossible. i always had problems authing with adminmod, so i switched to amxx. much better choice, better features, better scripting, ease of use.

Good to know, but does your Linux box need to have the same as well. Sorry, dont understand Linux.

*** dont mean to hijack buddy but I prefer adminmod and am forced to use AMX as well ***
