    DOOM 3 Demo Released
    11:16 PST | Cyric
The long awaited DOOM 3 demo has finally been released, albeit not the way it was supposed to be. The demo was to be released early next week, but it was "accidentally" released early yesterday for a short period of time by GameSpot.com to it's exclusive DLX users. After that period time of being online, it had spread around the net like cooties at a nightclub. The demo is the first three levels of the game which are in Mars City as the invasion takes place and weighs in at 461 megs. You can grab the demo here from Fileplanet.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Aharr me hearties, I read it on the avault forums earlier today. Not sure why companies are releasing demos long after the game is released, it seems counter-productive to me, yarr.
