    Actually, anyone with decent intelligence can get a script, but not anyone has a mouse wheel that can help you bhop. So I say mp_blockscript is even less fair then the way it was before.

    Oh, and I do not see less ppl bhop since b5.

    90 percent of ppl think they are bhopping are way too slow to be even considered usefull. Just like before.

    True, hence my saying it's an opinion more than anything else. Regarding the mwheel however, it's reasonable to assume a certain hardware standard across the board.

    Anyone still not on a mouse with a wheel has issues. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    We all like to say that "people should get technology of this era and stop using 90's equipment," but it's true, some people have mouses WITHOUT wheels (haha mac-users etc) and some peoples' mousewheels are crappy and worn out.

    I've been meaning to see the difference between mousewheel and 3jump myself, since I figured bind +jump mwheeldown is even easier than a simple 3jump, and I wanted to get started on bhop asap at the time. I've never experienced using a 3jump, but I assume it looks and feels the exact same as mwheel bhopping.

    I also differ with the choice of the words "more efficiently," since that's a pretty catch-all phrase when you're talking about scripts. Frankly, scripts are intended to make playing the game "more efficient" by streamlining various commands. Even a flashlight-strobe/health-ammo-impulse/teamsay script is more efficient than popping your menu open and begging for ammo while typing to the com. Instead of holding a button and scrolling to Need Med or whatever, I just hit F11 and it auto-says need medpack and uses the impulse to alert the commander, along with a short flashlight strobe to instantly call attention to me from the commander above.

    So yes, of course a 3jump script is more efficient. (At least more efficient than trying to do the impossible and bhop with a singlejump spacebar)

    As for the second script, let me explain why a script which toggles 3jump on and off is no different from my natural, almost script-free organic.cfg:

    My mousewheel is a 3jump substitute, and my spacebar is a singlejump substitute. All the second script does is make it so that you can turn the spacebar into both a singlejump and a multijump button with the hit of a button. However, in the end, the results are the same. I'm using one button and a wheel, and the scripter is just using the same button with another button to change functions. I'm not losing any coordination with my natural config, because my fingers are on both mwheel and space at the same time. In fact, I don't even need a separate button to press in order to decide if I want to multijump or just singlejump.

    So tell me again why the second script makes you feel funny to your tummy?
