Dummy bots

is there a way to get just regular bots to work? with no training map out yet, I want to be able to check out all the tech trees and abilities and stuff. also I have yet to find my old CD-Key, so until I do, I'm stuck playing games by myself. I tried the HPB_bot, but the addbot command wouldn't do anything. I just want to be able to put some waypoints so that they go into the random entrance, I don't care if they do anything after that.
