wasn't that an awesome finale?
I personally am so glad that such an awesome team one. This is one of the few times where the nice guy didn't finish last. I was SO happy. The obnoxious team that everyone hated came in second even though they convinced their driver to break about 30 different laws in back-to-back traffic (unlike the winning team). That felt good. Does anyone else watch the Amazing Rcae and share my same excitment?

Yeah, it's a reality TV show where teams race through different countries around the world. one of the few that doesn't suck.

ah, cool, I thought I'd heard of it, but I don't really watch TV anymore - except the occasional cartoon network or comedy central...

    yes, I'm a freak.

but if there's a reality show out there where the biggest **** doesn't win, count me in...

I like seeing the different countries they travel to, and the tasks they do, like white water luging kinda like body bording through rapids, sky diving, etc. It's neat.

Yah, I loved the ending also, thank god those **** didn't win. FInal episode I liked also, because the luge thing they did, I did this winter also (never got to try the bikes), so I knew how it must of been for a bit.

The places they visit are really neat, and I've seen alot of stuff I want to try now .Those balls filled with water that they rolled down the hills and such.

    Chip and Kim.

and yeah Comprox, I want to do just about everything they did in New Zealand. I thought the White Water Luging was awesome, the sky diving, and the ball that rolled down the hill, that was so freakin' awesome. I also would have loved to go down that luge in Calgary, do you know approx how far that is from Quebec?

It's Quite far from Quebec. It's in Alberta, here's a map. It looks to be 2500 KM or so?

    ah, oh well

by the way when I say "ball roll down the hill' for anyone who didn;t see the show, it was a large inflatable ball (with really think walls), that had a little bit of water in it to absorb some shock for when the ball hit the ground too hard, because they went down a really hilly hill. It was so cool.

Stay in Quebec. We don't want you out of your province, damned French.

It's nice to see Canadians make fun of Canadians. A pleasant change from the normal US vs Canada

Is the show really called "amazing race"?
Have to look up some episodes on emule or something. Wanna see it after the read.

It's Technically called 'The Amazing Race,' I put a link below. Unlike for survivor where they have the highlights of the show on the website, they only put the non-shown commentary on the website for Amazing race. So the clips might not be very interesting since you don't know the teams. It is an awesome show though.

I was actually rooting for the team that came in 3rd, ever since they managed NOT to get washed out when they refused to shave their heads. That endeared me to them somehow. Ah well, pity. The two runners up really should have been more on the ball with the plane thing on the last day... I mean, with so much at risk!

I actually really liked the "models" team also, though I am not surprised the plane incident happened to them. I was however extremely surprised that Colin and Christy didn't quadruple check their plane tickets, very surprised. To have been so hard core all game, and then go down in flames because of a flight delay was a huge mistake on their part. I'd feel really sorry for them if they weren't such ****.
