bah have to wait in ze queue :<
-There is no gamma correction on the footage. I think there's a sticky in the mapping forum which explains how to do that.
-config is not very good. Things like "GL_TEXTUREMODE "GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_LINEAR"" are missing.
-same for anti-alias and anisotropic filtering (which is a must-have for capruting movies).
-editing is very basic. No (or very few) hltv/spectator settings, only very basci transitions/effects
But the tricks are all uber-leet. Sometimes i was wondering of those are recorded with an older version?
Overall enjoyable to watch if you know the game, but should be very boring for non-ns players :X
the demos I had, so that's why I haven't done that. AA/AF is a bigger mistake
though, and I'm a bit annoyed because it was just a case of simple forgetfullness
by me. I simply forgot to turn it on when I was converting the demos, and didn't
spot it before it was way too late to go back and re-convert.
HLTV/spectator views were basically out of the question due to the fact that they
barely work at all with NS (third person/first person only anyway, unless you hack
it with a console command, but then you have to bind keys to turn and that makes
it look horribly choppy)
I could've done more variety when it comes to transitions, but I decided to just go
with the ones that fit the audio synch best (you'll notice the checkerboard effect
appearing every time there's a "swooosssschhh" sound, for instance.).
There's no doubt about it being a movie primarily made for the NS audience,
though. Most of the jumps are simple map exploits that you won't get anything out
of unless you know the map layout and the skilled jumps will seem boring to
Quake/TFC/etc. players due to NS speed limitations.
All the tricks were done with NS 3.0b4 / 5 <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I'm sure your next movie will be much better if the content is not ONLY ns trickjump <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
No scripts were used, just mwheel bound to +jump
Can't download it til' monday though, on 56k atm :/
That gives me an idea for a movie... <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Holy Poopsicles!!!!!!
Very impressive.
can anyone be of some help? is my download corrupt?
Also, Mercior and all of the euro's who made this:

What kind of a joke is that? It's much easier to time your jumps with +jump to the mousewheel, because the mwheel spams jump SOOO much faster. Just a big lol there.
feel about the script/mwheel discussion.
Don't delete those demos yet, I might do a sequel.
