And does anyone have a pictar of the cartridge for something that big?

I thought you could only use a bullet lager than .30 caliber for anti-material purposes.

Haven't you seen the vids of the american apatche crews removing from existance afgan arms dealers? those fire 30mm rounds in 12 round bursts. Also, pretty much every mounted machine gun fires .50 caliber shells.

.577 = hunting rifle
geneva convention = war law, not hunting law

too bad you dont have the 2nd half too.

The second part of the vid shows another guy trying to shoot it. He gets blown back into the chair and falls over backwards. I have it on my PC but I dont have a place to host it.

I don't think it's against the geneva conventions [which, from memory, deals with prisoners of war anyway?!], and you can still use giant bloody bullets against infantry.

Also, that looks like a normal hunting rifle, albeit a little big with a large kick... Doesn't look too extraordinary.. I mean, I have no idea about it, but what's so special about it? From the video it looks like he just didn't have a good grip on it..
• ZigZig ...I am Captain Planet! Join Date: 2002-10-23 Member: 1576Members
it's a huge bullet, and to reach high velocity it needs a huge charge behind it.

a huge charge behind a huge bullet dictates that, ideally, you will have an internally-recoiling barrel, muzzle porting, and the works, in your rifle.

that rifle does not.

this = lots of backwards motion.

... and did you just say that, because it "looks like a normal hunting rifle," it's not as "powerful" as an "uzi ak47 babykilling WMD assault weapon"?

Thus my teasing him. I think caboose is cool as well. And I found it funny that he changed his sig like that. But I still think the jury is out on Cheese, and he out to be given more posting time before judgements like that are verified. EEK might know something though... according to one of his posts.
