For scaling: 1) Decompile the HA. 2) Open the .qc 3) Add/Modify the $scale X.Y. This is a scaling in comparison to the original size, so $scale 2 doubles the size. 4) Add/Modify the $origin 0 0 X . You need to use the latest compiler/decompiler in order to use the different $texrendermodes. These are the ones I use, so they should work
I haven't looked at it in-game because personaly, I like the defaults (and high poly defaults, but defaults). And from the looks of that screen, the shells don't eject from the right spot on the gun. Although I could be wrong, because it's only a screen, but the shells should eject further back.
Sorry, but little things like that bug me :/ Admitingly I can't model to save my life, so I probably shouldn't be a perfectionist, but it's just how I'm used to seeing the gun fire in DoD.

Open in jeds hlmv, find the scale, and save as. I win kthx.
@ Fuzzy. Thanks for telling us the low-quality way. You lose. You made the mistake to make the model clip into the ground. You would have known that if you had actually thought about what I wrote. GG I win.
@ Saneity: NS shells' ejection position isn't defined in the model, it is hard coded, so I can't change it.
Can't change origins with Jeds anymore, so you gotta get into the qc file anyway. Also, the ground feature in jeds i have no idea what it's used for, sure isn't any kind of ground height i've seen before :/ Oh also just for giggles, crack open Jed's and find where the eye position is
I'll try scale/re-origin these properly when I get back from uni. What scale does everyone think? 1.2? or is that too big?

Well, actually, I tried it, and ur right. nvm what I said earlier. I do think it would look super kewl if the Hellnos ran around on all fours like some sort of rabid fade tho.
Edit: And also, I found a Fade model that looks a lot like the Hellnos only without the big armor plates. So that's what I'm using instead. It's been compressed like four or five times so I can post it, but...lol...ok nvm it's too big but I'll get a download up on my site Spawn of Chaos' Natural Selection Site

I dunno if obst would appreciate you posting links to 'similar' things in his thread, it's a little rude. I believe that is the Hell Onos which was purposely meant to look like a fade.
How in hell is the Hellnos a hack?
The Hellnos is OK in height and width, only thing is that the hitboxes are also a tad behind and infront of the Onos, which isn't a big deal ingame.
BTW the default-hand models need a bit more time until I get sober and my head stops aching...

For the default-hands models I have to redo some of the HMG anims.
/me shoots head
...Will take a bit, considering the time I'm sober per day is shrinking with each day...
:EDIT: OK finished the MG42 default + added a player model of the MG42 for default animations.
Didn't test it yet, but it fits the default HMG perfectly in size.
Ah well:
Or is it Bots MG42?
