Problems with ns ( blue screen )

Ive got some big big problems with NS.
I can start the game by using the default config. But when I change some controls and then "Resume game", a blue screen appears and the PC reboots.
When I start NS again after the reboot, the config is set to normal and if I change something the same #### happens again...!
System:
Intel P3 1000mhz
256 ram
Geforce 2 64 meg ( 1024 in direct 3d )
Win XP ( Service pack 1 )
