sb audigy
well i would like to say that when this card works it aint bad, but it never seems to work.

my problem is I keep losing my my SB AUDIGY tool bar on start up. and than dont have any controls It does this every two weeks or so, it just suddenly gets an error message on start up and says an error has accured we are sorry for the inconveniance, blah blah blah blah... than i put the drivers back on etc etc

before and after this error happens my comp freezes and keeps playing the same sound over and over and over and i dont know whats causeing it but it seems to be the sound card.

meh, i think im gonna just reformat and get a santa cruz sound card

sorry if this doesnt make in sense, my comp just froze and im a lil frustrated and delerious as of now

I have nothing but hatred for Creative sound cards. Unfortunately I have no idea what else there is. I heard about Santa Cruz line of cards but I find there's very little ways to compare sound cards, outside the fact that my Audigy 2 cracks and popples like mad. I'm probably going to get one of those too, soon enough, since aside from silence, you can't get worse then Creative cards (They've only recently made their drivers page less of a Pandora's Box)

I like threads that resolve themself in a single post
