= Deutsch =

Für die Mitglieder der deutschsprachigen NS Community gibt es ab heute eine neue, interaktive Informationsquelle rund um das Thema Natural Selection, die besonders neuen Spielern bei ihrem Einstieg in dieses Spiel helfen soll. Aber natürlich sollten auch erfahrene Spieler einen Blick in das NSWiki werfen, sei es, um ein paar Dinge nachzulesen, oder, um selber Artikel zu verfassen und so andere Spieler an ihrem Wissen teilhaben zu lassen.

NSWiki ist, genau wie der große Bruder Wikipedia, sehr einfach zu bedienen und kann jederzeit von jedem User erweitert oder korrigiert werden, so dass mit der Zeit ein immer unfangreicheres Lexikon rund um das Thema Natural Selection entsteht. Eine Anmeldung ist nicht erforderlich.

Das Projekt wurde vom Clan XKC (Xeno Kamikaze Corps) gestartet, welcher zur Zeit auch die meisten Admins stellt. Neue Admins können sich natürlich jederzeit gerne bewerben, so dass eine gewisse Qualität der Beiträge gewährleistet ist. Fragen, Anregungen oder sonstiges Feedback könnt ihr im #xkc (quakenet) loswerden oder direkt per mail an nswiki@derpapst.de schicken.

There is a new interactive source of information for the members of the German NS community wich especially aims to help new players to find their way around in NS. But experienced players should drop by, too, of course; to take a look around, read articles and of course write new articles themselfs so other players can benefit from their experience.

Like it's big brother Wikipedia, NSWiki is very easi to use. Articles can be changed or created by any user anytime resulting in a vast collection of information about NS. Registration is not needed,

NSwiki wa started and is maintained by clan XKC (Xeno Kamikaze Corps) that currently provides most of the site's admins. New admins are welcome to apply if they want, of course, to ensure a certain quality of the articles. Questions, comments or any other form of feedback can be given in #xkc (quakenet) or by sending a mail to nswiki@derpapst.de.

    Fein Tofu is echt gut geworden. Aber ihr solltet unbedingt die rechtschreibung checken nur mal nen Bsp.

    Ok, it seems you don't really understand the way a wiki works, so let me explain it to you in simple terms:

    Every user can create new articles or edit other users' articles at ANY time. This way the content of a wiki changes and expands. There are no big "updates" in the old fashioned way.
    More information about the "MetaWiki" system can be found at <a href='http://www.mediawiki.org' target='_blank'>mediawiki.org</a>. I think they have s a user's handbook there, too, in different languages.

    Hope the German players will use it A LOT, because I noticed many players that are new to NS are quite helpless at the beginning.

    How about the Sysop Status for me. I´ve already made many Articles. And Tofu your Statement about the Vets was a bit harsh <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
    For example when i was Vet about 60 % of my Posts in these Forums where in the Vet Forum. The main Problem was that there never was any feedback from the Devs and so many gave up on posting in the Vet Forum.

    Also i never understood why nobody invited me into the new Playtester group <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
