So how about it?

Right now I've got Winamp running, 3 conversations in mIRC, messing w/ <a href='http://learn.arc.nasa.gov/worldwind/features.html' target='_blank'>NASA World</a>, googling "NASA World" to provide you all with that link, and I'm intermeditly staring at the empty Dr. Pepper can wishing I would get off my lazy arse and go get another. This is a light load for me as I'm a bit tired. heh.

I have mIRC open with 7 channels open. An article about a siberian dog doy in 1 firefox window, 2 seperate forums in this firefox window. I have winamp 5 open as well as bit torrent. MS Word is also open where I'm supposed to be writing an essay. I just finished downloading Sun Solaris 9 and FreeBSD too.

How true is this..... I have AIM running, qtracker, steam, 4 different webpages, this forum, my email and I had just shutdown mIRC..... ,but in my case its probably good old ADHD.... *oh didnt see that food counted, but communist included it so...* with a turkey and cheese sandwich being consumed.

Meh, I think the other form that NADD takes is starting on a project, getting bored of it, starting off on another project, getting bored on it, work on old project again, get bored of it, start a new project.. ad infinitum.

I think the multi-window/tasking kind of NADD isn't that bad. It's probably the norm, even outside of nerd circles.

Although, I do have to say I blame nifty software on the multi window kind of NADD. Normally, I have IRC opened up to multiple channels on at least two networks, Firefox with four tabs open at least, and if I'm working on a website, IE and Opera would be open too.

I also use Programmers Notepad, which has tabbed document opening, so usually there'll be two documents opened, either my writing or some HTML or code. Then there's gaim, which allows me to be on MSN and YM simultaneously.

All these programs give my taskbar a sense of sanity while allowing me to sekratly have access to all these stuff too. And I guess being on dialup is a blessing. If I was on broadband, I'd probably be downloading a few things in the background too.
