I probably would not play text-based game, tbh. I can't see how they would keep my interest. I understand that it involves the use of imagination but I still need actual graphics on the screen to keep my interest.

Back in BBS days I played Legend of the Red Dragon religiously. I mean I had accounts on about 10 BBS's that I played daily. OMG that game was the win.

And a couple years back the AHL crowd all had a giant game of Tradewars, that was fun too.

I can't remember when I made this and last posted it. It was most likely for a thread asking for screenshots of a beta version of NS when only MonsE was allowed to give them out at carefully timed intervals.

Heh heh, I'm in the abandonware community and we used to have this server with LoRD and tradewars on. LoRD just rules. I probably will be able to fall back into the repetative tapping of keys as I slay stuff in the forest if I ever go back to LoRD. Also, there was a female player and all the players used her to gain XP. We called her the town bicycle

I also got owned too much in TW. >_<

Oooh, yeah, there's also a webbased clone of LoRD, Legend of the Green Dragon? for the win! Also, where's esunas text based NS game anyway...
