Biting bug

I was biting a person 15 times after he ran into a web but he didnt die. I think no marine has 750 health. Can it be that there is a bug with biting? Sometimes people die after 2 bites and sometimes i bite them 5 or more times and they dont die and they not even have a heavy armor...

a similar thing happened to me, but it was in a vent, a marine and i stared at each other, me biting, him slashing at me and neither of us was taking damage..... odd
