Mortal Combat: Deception
<div class="IPBDescription">What will it take to be good?</div> I have always been a great fan of MK, and MK: Deadly Alliance was a fantastic game.
Of course, it was not without it's flaws, and so I very much hope this game will build up on MK:DA, but even better.
What will it take to officially make this game better than it's predecessor? Here's a small list of my few essential priorities...
1: Interactive environments. The trailers have already shown that they've worked on that, so I won't have to worry too much about it...
2: More fatalities. Vengeance had some pretty good stuff but...How about a different fatality for each style of combat? Babitality? Friendship? And most importantly...Brutality?
3: Dan "Toasty!" Forden. This should need no explanation.
4: They better keep The Kypt. MK has always been great at adding bonuses and keeping the game fresh, so I'm expecting alot...
What's your input?
PS: Cooking With Scorpion FTW! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

You've been playing it for 11 years? You could have spent all that time socializing, and spending time with your girlfriend. Oh wait... <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

You would be suprised. The 3D MK ones you see at the arcades are crap, but DA was extremely fantastic. See that Cooking With Scorpion thing? That was an unlockable video that you purchased from The Krypt, using Kombat Koins you got from winning matches.

Woa, I thought you were bsing us or something and photoshopped that. If that is real that would be incredibly awesome.

Yeah, but that's coming from... what, 4 or 5 types of fatalities in MK3? I know they can do better than that. The fans want more blood and messy decapitations, dang it!
I like Dead or Alive more, or Tekken.
Chopping! Chooping! Meat tenderizing! Chopping!
:P
Personally, I think the #1 biggest thing about MKD is the online play. For the first time ever in any fighting game to my knowledge, you can play against the entire Interweb. So if your best friend gets a girl friend and tells you to go to hell and you never see him anymore despite living in the same 2 bedroom apartment you can still play other people online!

Oh yes, <3 this game, I haven't had this much time with a fighting game in a long, long time.
Anyhow, I play MK for a few things - weapons, different styles, fatalities, stage kills, animalities, babalities, and the all powerful Fergality.
Deception looks to be awesome, as I also like chess and puzzle fighter. Way to go Midway, hehe.

Sorry, but the correct answer was "MK3 Trilogy on the N64, ftw."
And yes, Fergality is awesome. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
No Friendships, no Fatalities...
What other kinds are there? God, I can't even remember...
And yes, bring back the "Toasty!" man.

Not sure about the PS2 version but the x-box one definitely supports xbox live just like Guilty Gear XX did ^^
<b>edit:</b> I'm really looking forward to isuka, especially thanks to it also including a streets of rage style game called 'boost mode' which is essentially a sidescrolling beatemup for up to two players to coop while playing their fave GG chars =D
The screen can get pretty busy in it by the looks of things...

Are you referring to MK: Deception?
b/c there are Fatalities, each character has 2.
You can also make your enemy kill themselves too.
