<div class="IPBDescription">3 more years for Australian PM</div> Opposition leader Mark Latham has conceded a loss to John Howard, who polled stronger this election than in his previous election, proving once and for all that the average Australian Voter has far more common sense than the average University Student. This is the PM who took Australia to an unpopular war in Iraq, who implemented unpopular tax reform, and has consistently shown incredible leadership and determination at risk to his re-election chances, and has done it with STYLE.

And they said there was no God.

HOWARD/COSTELLO 04 BABIIEEEE YEAAAAHHHH!!!!!!

I would have voted for him, but only because I think he'd have done a less crap job than the other guys.

Personally, I hate politics, government, etc, too complicated with inconclusive and useless results, so I never got into it.

    Latham so kicks his behind...

How can you call yourself Australian and not vote for a man who calls the other guy an ****licker?

I'm sorry - did you just say something? I couldnt hear you over the thousands of working class Australians who dont go to university, who wont go to university, who now DONT have to pay for your uni degree via their tax dollars because there is no Latham to reverse the 25% HEC's fees upgrade. Its tough in life where you do a university degree that will enable you to get a good job and earn plenty of money in life, but they actually expect you to (omigoshi2u) actually chip in a bit yourself......

goddammit I hate it when my opposition makes intelligent, valid points that make sense. It confuses me and makes rebutle so much harder...

yeah the more I think about it the more I think that Howard will do as good a job as he has before [the rumours that he is going senile are just.... idiotic].

However I think I would have prefered for there to be more independants in the senate. Again, the fsking democrats shoot themselves in the foot by announcing on election day that they are "hopeful" but that them getting anything was unlikely. Good choice, guys, now nobody will vote for you.

I don't like the idea of a rubber stamp senate, whether it's liberals or labor. I guess I just hope it won't be like that.

EDIT: removed pointless end comment about greens.

Marine01, don't take this the wrong way, but.... oh what does it matter. I was going to say something political but I don't care. I'm staring at a bottle of vodka with serious intent to drink the entire thing, then make a start on the rest of the alcohol cabinet.

Oh, and btw, Bush is going to win. So rejoice my forumite friends. Rejoice in your coming oblivian. You are all going to get exactly what you deserve for voting the way you did, and the way you will.

Before I lose all control over my gross bodily functions however promise me one thing: if I show up at this bunker lan tommorow, neither of us even mentions politics.
